Exclusion instead of Inclusion

Lies and deception

The alleged „reform“ of the law on guardianship passed in the Bundestag (Federal German Parliament) on March 5, 2021, which hypocritically serves the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UN-CRPD): nothing but lies and deception.

• The UN-CRPD requires that the views of those affected be taken into account – the „reform“ is an aggressive and frontal attack on everything those affected have said about it, see here. The reform is therefore perverting the course of justice.
• The UN-CRPD prescribes the end of coercive psychiatry. The reform, on the other hand, further entrenches coercive psychiatric measures, making the forcibly incapacitated (derided as „cared for“) even more helpless and dependent. The „reform“ is quite offensively contrary to the provisions of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, i.e. it is perverting the course of justice. Quote from the adopted explanatory memorandum of the law, page 120: „The contrary legal opinion of the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, as expressed in its „Concluding Observations on Germany’s First State Report“ published in April 2015,“ is simply declared irrelevant and is negated.

• Even the automatic power of attorney for spouses was written into the law. It was the reason that only the FDP (the liberal party) voted against this lying and deceptive „reform“ to finally destroy the essential core of the UN-CRPD, see here.

We had already buried the UN-CRPD in November 2010, see here, now the legislative institutions of Germany have openly demonstrated their cynical contempt for indivisible human rights.
